Y2mp3 operates strictly as an online technological intermediary and transcoder. We respect the intellectual property rights of others and comply with the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Because Y2mp3 is a transient online software system, we do not host, store, or index any files, videos, or transcoded audio streams on our systems beyond temporary, automatic processing segments of up to 120 seconds.
1. Filing an Infringement Notification
If you are a copyright owner or authorized representative thereof, and believe that any action performed via our utility infringes upon your copyright rights, you may submit a formal notification containing the following criteria:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the material or activity that is claimed to be infringing and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled (such as the specific YouTube URLs).
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit the service provider to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
2. Contact Information for Agents
Please transmit all formal notifications via our contact portal or email desk. Because our platform is transient and stateless, we also actively encourage platform creators to contact us if they wish to block their specific video channels or domains from being transcoded on our nodes entirely.
